5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) have announced their highly anticipated 2023 world tour, kicking off in Perth, Australia, on May 25th.
The tour will support the band's upcoming fifth studio album, "5SOS5," set to release on September 22nd. The tour will span four continents, with stops in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America, before concluding in Auckland, New Zealand, on December 13th.
Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Friday, April 14th, at 10 AM local time through 5SOS.com/live. Fans can sign up for early access to tickets by pre-ordering "5SOS5" from the band's official website.
5SOS, consisting of Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin, have achieved global success since their debut in 2011. The band has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, toured extensively, and won numerous awards, including an American Music Award and an iHeartRadio Music Award.
Their upcoming album, "5SOS5," is their most personal and ambitious work to date, exploring themes of mental health, growth, and the power of friendship. The band worked closely with producer and co-writer Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age on the record, which promises to showcase their evolution as artists.
